The work will begin with the Brownsboro Road underpass at mile marker 22.1 and progress westward. The work will start today, August 9th, and continue through November 15, 2010. The shoulders of the road will be closed 24 hours a day seven days a week, and lane closures are possible nights and weekends. From Shelby County line to I-265.<br><strong>Duration</strong>: <br><strong>Roadway</strong>: As the continued reconstruction of I-64 progresses, westbound lanes of I-64 have been reconfigured to have barrier walls separating the lanes through the construction zone from the 23.9 mile marker to the 18.8 mile marker. Motorists wishing to access I-265 from the westbound lanes will need to be in the right lane as they travel through this area. Message signs are installed to advise motorists of the need to make this decision well ahead of the beginning of the barriers. This project is scheduled to run through the fall of 2010 before completion.
