This is a sample map of some
1913 historic maps overlayed onto a current map. You can toggle the layer on and off after you zoom in. The overlay diappears after a certain zoom level.
If there is interest, I'd like to make a map like this with three different historic maps (1876, 1884, 1913), and allow you to fade each one in and out. But I would need help getting the high res maps from UofL and the process would be time consuming.
