About Our Pricing and Paid Services
Metro Mapper is an online news organization dedicated to getting unique and geo-local information out to the public for free. We never sell our data or charge for access to the data. But some services we provide have directly trackable quatifiable costs, service fees, and maintenance hours. These servics are optional and the pricing is listed below. Note that the pricing structure and costs might vary at any time, until you enter into a paid agreement with us. Thanks, I think you'll find the costs reasonable when considering the benefits for your company.
Advertising Site Sponsorship
You can sponsor a specific map on a quarterly or yearly basis. Sponsorship involves ads for your company above and to the right of the maps. Users clicking on the link will be passed directly to any page on your site. This sponsorship helps us recoup the costs of running the servers and maintaining the code on our site.
We can help you track ad views and click through conversion rates based on our site traffic. You get targeted, local visitors interested in what you have to offer.
If applicable, we can link to your site in every one of our popups, thus getting visitors from our site, in shared and emailed links, embedded maps on other sites, and our affiliate sites.
Cost per View
Sponsorship cost is based directly on the number of unique pageviews of the map during the previous month of traffic. Cost for a month is based on the map's total traffic, and is rounded up to the nearest $25 increment. Contact us for our current rates.
Cost per Click
You can also choose the option of paying only when a potential customer clicks over to your site. This cost is based on the map's popularity, and you pay only for the clicks to your site. We can track these clicks, and give you monthly user reports. Contact us for our current rates.
High Traffic Embedded Maps
Take any of our maps, set your starting location and map size, then copy and paste some code to get the map on your site or blog! Learn more about our Create Maps feature on our parent site, Your Mapper. If you are a low traffic site, it's free! If you have high traffic, we recoup our bandwidth and storage costs through a very inexpensive monthly fee based on your site's bandwidth use.
Almost all sites will end up paying just $25 per month for an embedded map!
Bandwidth Fee
The Bandwidth Fee is based on the number of map views by your users. We track the number of times our map is viewed on your embedded map each day.
The cost is $25 per 3,00 map views per month (rounded up to the nearest $25 increment). Please contact us to activate this feature and discuss mutliple map discounts or partnership options.
